My Widow is a Poisonous Black Spider


HeckYeahhhh!!  What up though!!  In one of my blog post that you read I gave you information on the Brown Recluse.  Well Now I want to  give you some information on the Black Widow.

Black Widow

Black widows are notorious spiders identified by the colored, hourglass-shaped mark on their abdomens. Several species answer to the name, and they are found in temperate regions around the world (National Geographic, 2015).  I live in Kentucky, and I have not seen any Black Widows in this state.  So those who live in Kentucky, the Brown Recluse spider is what you have to worry about.  This spider’s bite is much feared because its venom is reported to be 15 times stronger than a rattlesnake’s.
