Everyone loves Christmas time. Everyone enjoys a nice, sunny summer afternoon. A fall night filled with football and crisp weather is always a great time. Louisville has a time of year that is just as great as all of these things, and it is called Derby Season.
Derby Season begins on April 14th and for a month parades march through the city, runners run a marathon, basketball is played, one of the largest fireworks shows on earth takes place, and it all leads up to the greatest two minutes in sports: The Kentucky Derby.
One of these tremendous events is Thunder Over Louisville. This year it takes place on April 23rd. It is an all day event celebrating the history of aviation and the city of Louisville. People come to Louisville to walk around downtown all day and enjoy the city. There are various parties…
