Down… but not out.

On Jordan's mind...

The San Antonio Spurs were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs last night in six games. The Spurs lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 113-99.

What was assumed to be a lock that San Antonio would play Golden State in the Western Conference Finals took a wild turn.

Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant led the way scoring 37 points and adding nine rebounds. Russell Westbrook collected another double-double with 28 points and 12 assists.

Steven Adams

We all know that Durant and Westbrook are the superstars on the team. OKC’s success falls on the hands of those two. However, one dark horse player that doesn’t get enough credit is Steven Adams. OKC won every game this series when Adams recorded a double-double.

The Thunder won this series because they exposed the age of the Spurs. The Thunder were far more athletic, and the number of offensive rebounds is a prime example of that.
