There was a lot of chatter this past week about whether or not Lamar Jackson was the real deal, or was his epic performance in week one just a fluke against a weaker team.

It’s safe to say that the ACC better watch out for #8 in Cardinal red.

With a final score of # 13 Louisville 62 – Syracuse 28, UL is making the statement that Bobby Petrino’s Cardinals are a force to be reckoned with. Louisville has had plenty of success against Syracuse in recent years, adding this game to the series, they have won 6 of their last 7 meetings.

Lamar Jackson is breaking school records every week. Against the Orange, he set a new school record with 610 yards of offense (411 passing yards and 199 rushing yards, with 5 TDs)  passing Chris Redman’s 578. This is also the most yards ever allowed by Syracuse.
