Kevin Garnett and the End of an Era for the NBA


Just a few hours ago I read that Kevin Garnett was hanging ups his jersey and retiring from the NBA. The 40-year-old power forward drafted in 1995 with the 5th overall pick out of high school by the Minnesota was one of the games most influential players over his storied 21 year career. This is hopefully the last basketball giant to retire before the start of this season. KG’s retirement is the third one this year that is showing the transition of the


old era to the new in the NBA.
