The Cardinals Continue Their Flight To Greatness Against Marshall

The Louisville Cardinals remain undefeated after their stampeding of the Marshall Thundering Herd.

No. 3 Louisville won 59-28 against Marshall University. This has been considered a sandwich game for U of L because it falls between ACC powerhouses Florida State and Clemson on the schedule.

Louisville started off shaky with Marshall holding the Cards to only 7 points in the first quarter. Marshall’s defense came out with heart and determination. Their defense applied enough pressure on QB Lamar Jackson that he only completed 4-11 and threw an interception in the first quarter.quick-marshall

Bobby Petrino’s offense found their rhythm in the second quarter. They finished the first half with the score UL 35 to MU 7.
