The Internet & Terrorism

 Being an avid news watcher, I definitely think the Internet has increased the impact of terrorism. It has increased in two different ways: who terrorists can attack, and how the world reacts to acts of terrorism.
The Internet has allowed terrorists to virtually enter the homes and minds of people around the world. It has led to cyber attacks that greatly affect countries and businesses. Before the Internet, there was no way for terrorists to attack someone without doing physical harm.
But now that we rely so much on technology and information, terrorists have new ways to harm others. It also has let groups such as ISIS corrupt young kids into thinking they should to join the group and that the group can help them because the rest of the world is corrupt.
