I have been very blessed in my life and have never the burden of having to take my laundry to the public laundry mats. At my parents we had a dedicated room with multiple sets of washers and dryers so my large family was never without clean clothes. Even when I moved out at 18 I had a washer and dryer set in every apartment and house I stayed in.
The luxury of being able to do laundry as I please made my hectic life that much simpler. I could put a load in the wash and leave with the peace of mind my clothes would be left unbothered and ready for the fryer when I returned. Laundry was true set on my schedule.
Recently we found a leak in our apartment and I have been forced to put washer out of commission until my laundry room is fixed.
